Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician

Job Description

TOYOTI1 is currently seeking a Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician to join our team on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Utilize reliability equipment for analyzing and detecting potential machine failures to minimize downtime effectively.
• Review and analyze data to predict pending failures.
• Use advanced technologies like infrared, vibration, and ultrasonic for daily data collection.
• Submit work orders in MP2 and coordinate repairs during planned maintenance downtime.
• Detect and address air, steam, and nitrogen leaks using reliability devices.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks like changing filters, oil, and grease.
• Recommend immediate repairs to prevent catastrophic failures and extend equipment life.
• Collaborate with Plant Operations and Maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Stay updated on predictive maintenance technology and participate in job-related training.
• Comply with safety procedures and recommend upgrades or replacements when necessary.
• Communicate effectively and attend maintenance meetings as required.

Qualifications

• Candidates with relevant experience or a degree in industrial maintenance are encouraged to apply.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment with reliability technology is preferred.
• Certifications in Pdm are a plus, or willingness to obtain them.
• Strong understanding of root cause failure analysis and the ability to work independently or in a team.
