Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician to join our team at TOYOTI1. In this role, you will be responsible for utilizing reliability equipment to analyze and detect potential machine failures to minimize downtime effectively. You will review and analyze data to predict pending failures, use various technologies for data collection, and work closely with maintenance planners to schedule repairs during planned downtime.

Responsibilities

• Utilize reliability equipment to analyze and detect potential machine failures.
• Review and analyze data to predict pending failures.
• Utilize infrared, vibration, and ultrasonic technology for data gathering.
• Work with maintenance planners to schedule repairs during planned downtime.
• Detect air, steam, and nitrogen leaks using reliability devices.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing filters, oil, and grease.
• Monitor equipment and recommend immediate repairs to avoid catastrophic failure.
• Provide support to minimize unplanned downtime due to machine failure.
• Attend reliability and maintenance meetings.
• Initiate plans to improve and extend the life of manufacturing equipment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in industrial maintenance or 5 years' experience with reliability technology.
• Military experience considered.
• PDM certifications preferred.
• Thorough understanding of root cause failure analysis.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
