Job Description

We are looking for a Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician to join our team at TOYOTI1. As a technician, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and predicting potential machine failures to minimize downtime effectively. Your responsibilities will include utilizing reliability equipment, analyzing gathered data, and collaborating with maintenance planners to schedule repairs during planned maintenance downtime.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and detect potential machine failures using reliability equipment.
• Predict pending failures by reviewing and analyzing gathered data.
• Utilize infrared, vibration, and ultrasonic technology for data collection.
• Submit work orders and collaborate with maintenance planners for scheduled repairs.
• Detect air, steam, and nitrogen leaks using reliability devices.
• Change filters, oil, and grease as needed.
• Monitor equipment for issues and recommend immediate shutdown if necessary.
• Collect oil samples for lab test analysis.
• Support Plant Operations and Maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Initiate plans to improve equipment lifespan.

Requirements

• Associate degree in industrial maintenance or 5 years of experience in a related field.
• Experience with reliability technology and data collection.
• Root cause failure analysis knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
