Job Description

We are looking for a talented Project Engineer to join Bakerly Barn LLC. As a Project Engineer, you will lead the technical aspects of engineering projects, design, specify, and commission new process equipment, provide engineering support, and contribute to deviation investigations for equipment and manufacturing processes. You will collaborate closely with the Engineering Manager to achieve project goals and company satisfaction targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and interpret technical requirements set by the Engineering Manager.
  • Manage the bidding process with suppliers, evaluate quotes, and provide recommendations.
  • Coordinate equipment installation and process implementation with external contractors and internal teams.
  • Schedule and oversee the launch of new equipment and production lines.
  • Train operators and technicians on equipment operation and procedures.
  • Suggest process and equipment optimizations for quality improvement, cost savings, and productivity enhancement.
  • Enforce quality and safety standards, offer technical guidance to staff and clients.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide necessary technical information to support company objectives.

Job Qualifications:

  • Flexible schedule availability.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Engineering & Plant Manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical software (AutoCAD).
  • Ability to liaise with international suppliers.
  • Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Capability to work in varying conditions, including extreme temperatures and around machinery.

Physical Requirements:

  • Physical agility to stoop, kneel, crawl, climb, stand, walk, and reach.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Dexterity to handle tools and supplies.
  • Visual acuity for detailed work and adjustments.

Backup:

The Engineering Manager acts as the backup in your absence.
