Job Description
We are currently seeking a motivated Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. This is a full-time position working afternoons. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology, ensuring the best possible images for interpretation.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following proper verification procedures.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document in medical records.
- Ensure patient safety during procedures.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and follow protocols for equipment malfunctions.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients and families.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and equipment.
- Assist in training of students and new hires.
Requirements
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- Must be registered with ARRT within 6 months of hire date.
- Basic Life Support Certification required.
- Ability to perform physical duties as outlined in the working conditions.
