Job Description
We are currently seeking a passionate Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health on a full-time afternoon shift. In this role, you will be responsible for performing accurate diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology, ensuring patient safety and providing high-quality images for interpretation. Additionally, you will collaborate with the clinical team, follow radiation protection principles, and contribute to a patient and family-centered care approach.
Essential Duties
- Perform quality diagnostic exams with precision and efficiency.
- Acquire and document patient history accurately.
- Ensure patient safety during procedures.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and follow protocols.
- Educate patients on procedures and ensure their comfort and understanding.
Standard Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers required.
