Job Description

Matheny School and Hospital is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Registered Nurse to join our team at the Frelinghuysen, NJ location. As a Community Services Registered Nurse, you will provide skilled nursing care to residents of group homes, collaborate with staff members to ensure continuity of care, and participate in interdisciplinary teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary nurse for a caseload of community residents.
  • Provide skilled nursing care and coordinate care plans.
  • Facilitate proper interdisciplinary teamwork.
  • Document health care in compliance with requirements.
  • Conduct education on resident health issues and treatments.
  • Coordinate care with Direct Support Professionals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with health professionals.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred.
  • One year of experience with developmental disabilities.
  • Valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license.
  • Valid New Jersey Driver's License.
