Registered Nurse - Roswell Job Corps Center

Job Description

Join our team at Career Systems Development Corporation as a Registered Nurse at the Roswell Job Corps Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in providing medical care and treatment to students on our school campus. You may also have the opportunity to act as the Health and Wellness Director in the absence of the HWD.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health evaluations for new students including vital signs, screenings, specimen collection, and medication administration.
• Assist in scheduling medical appointments and managing chronic care for students.
• Act as a Co-Disability Coordinator and provide medical accommodations as needed.
• Support the HEALS committee and participate in related activities.
• Attend staff training sessions and fulfill other assigned duties.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Minimum: High school graduate with a State RN license. Active, unrestricted nursing license within scope of practice required.

Preferred: One year of nursing experience, Job Corps experience a plus.

Knowledge: Proficiency in nursing techniques, effective communication, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.

• Reading and Writing: College-level proficiency in reading and writing.
