We are looking for a Substitute Instructor to join our team at Roswell Job Corps Center. As an instructor, you will deliver instructions in designated subject areas, maintain discipline, and foster a positive learning environment for our students.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and uphold Company Core Values and operating principles.
• Promote a positive classroom atmosphere to motivate students.
• Establish rapport with students and maintain discipline to enhance learning.
• Utilize curriculum resources effectively and maintain student personnel folders.
• Ensure compliance with attendance and accountability processes.
• Attend required training sessions.
• Perform assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

• State certification, license, or accreditation by a professional trade organization.
• Practical experience in the subject area if not state certified.
• Ability to transfer knowledge effectively to meet learning objectives.
• Knowledge of behavior instillation methods for adolescent students and housekeeping techniques.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Physical requirements include standing, sitting, seeing, hearing, and speaking.
• Occasional walking, bending, stooping, and flexibility.
• Rare climbing, lifting, carrying, kneeling, pushing/pulling, running, and driving.

Environmental Demands

Ability to operate office equipment, occasional solo work, 85% teamwork, college-level reading and writing skills.
