Substitute Residential Advisor-SPR

Job Description

We are looking for a Substitute Residential Advisor (SPR) to create a welcoming and supportive environment for students in our student housing facility. The role involves supervising daily activities, providing counseling, maintaining records, and ensuring the safety and well-being of students. As a Residential Advisor, you will play a key role in helping students adjust to campus life and develop essential life skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and assistance to students in various activities.
• Offer counseling and guidance on personal and academic matters.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and behavior.
• Ensure dormitory facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Facilitate group activities and individual meetings.
• Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in education or a related field working with students preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid Driver's License.
