Are you a skilled Truss Designer looking for a new opportunity with a dynamic company? Better Living Inc is seeking an On-site Truss Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating roof and floor truss placement layouts and wall panels that adhere to our design practices and standards.

Responsibilities

• Design roof and floor trusses using MiTek software.
• Create truss placement layouts based on architectural prints.
• Specify necessary hardware and maintain job tracking records.
• Provide sales and customer support as needed.
• Attend meetings as required.

Requirements

• Proficiency in MiTek Management program.
• Experience in building component design (4-5 years minimum).
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural blueprints.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with local building codes related to truss design.
• Self-motivated with good project management abilities.
