Job Description
We are looking for individuals to join our team as Leak Detection Specialists at Omark Consultants Inc. As a Gas Leak Survey Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of the gas distribution network. No prior experience is required, as we provide comprehensive paid training for this position.
Responsibilities
- Conduct visual inspections on gas meters and underground distribution gas lines for leaks and corrosion.
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Report any abnormal operating conditions promptly.
- Participate in daytime, full-time shifts with occasional overtime and weekend work.
Compensation
Starting pay of $23/hour with the potential to earn up to $30/hour based on performance. Additional benefits and bonuses available.

Requirements
- Ability to walk long distances on various terrains and lift heavy items.
- Proficiency in using simple hand tools and understanding utility maps.
- Comfortable using technology such as smartphones and tablets.
- Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and ability to pass required tests.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
