Job Description
ATA Services, Inc. is currently seeking Accounts Payable/Receivable specialists for a 4-month temporary assignment with the State of New Mexico Environmental Department in Santa Fe, NM.
- Salary: $23 per hour
- Start: Immediately
- Duration: 4 months
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
This role involves tracking budgets, revenue, completing reconciliations (including payroll, default time, and grant), cost package assembly, adjusting journal entries, budget tracking, cost recoupment, and management reporting within the Statewide Human Resources Accounting System.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience with SHARE software
- Basic finance, accounting, and bookkeeping knowledge
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Preferred Skills
- Associate’s degree or equivalent
- Strong mathematical skills
- Experience in accounts payable/receivable
- Proficiency in accounting software and online platforms
