Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Athletic Trainer to join our Sports Medicine Program at Blount Memorial Hospital. As an Athletic Trainer, you will provide comprehensive athletic training services to athletes at sporting events, community gatherings, and in clinical settings. You will assess athletes, monitor progress, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure top-notch patient care. Additionally, you will offer physical therapy care to individuals across various age groups under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients, staff, and the community.
Requirements
- Current Athletic Training license issued by the State of Tennessee Division of Health Related Boards.
- CPR Certification.
- Membership in a professional association is recommended.
- Knowledge of growth and development, injury assessment and treatment, human behavior, and performance.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and monitoring skills.
- Ability to apply general rules to specific problems and make informed decisions.
