CAREGIVER

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Abacus Childcare. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the curriculum, creating lesson plans, and mentoring Assistant Teachers. In addition to classroom duties, you will act as a liaison with parents and staff, ensuring a harmonious environment. The ideal candidate should have a CDA qualification, classroom experience, and excellent management skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and children.
• Maintain accurate attendance records.
• Collaborate with the director to address any employee issues.
• Show respect and care towards children.
• Ensure completion of all necessary paperwork.
• Be available for special functions and flexible hours.
• Possess knowledge of first aid procedures and CPR training.
• Adhere to professionalism and center policies.
• Lead and support other staff members.
• Follow hygiene protocols and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• CDA qualification or equivalent.
• Prior classroom experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Familiarity with state regulations and childcare policies.
