Manufacturing Process Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Process Specialist to drive global manufacturing performance improvement at Preformed Line Products. In this role, you will collaborate on equipment, process engineering, and product engineering to enhance manufacturing productivity and standards.

Essential Functions

• Lead technical process improvement and troubleshooting support for metal and plastic fabrication.
• Drive improvement plans for helical wire processing equipment.
• Provide recommendations for product development engineers and support PLM software implementation.
• Bring new developments in manufacturing to PLP sites globally and assess overall operations performance.

Qualifications and Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of ten years of experience in engineering or management.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing technology and processing methods.
• Minimum of five years of management experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong project management abilities and the strength to lift objects up to 40 pounds.
