Welder - Production Welder

Legend Manufacturing, Inc., a leading manufacturer of premium aluminum trailers, is seeking a Production Welder to join our team. In this role, you will work collaboratively within teams to weld aluminum and steel enclosed and aluminum open trailer frames, ensuring the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
• Operate welding machines, grinders, torches, and other tools to perform welding tasks.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and BOM's accurately.
• Execute various weld types (Fillet, Seam, Spot, etc.) and joint types (Butt, Corner, Lap, Tee) proficiently.
• Utilize MIG and TIG welding techniques for aluminum and steel materials.
• Ensure proper assembly using framing jigs, maintaining alignment and squareness.
• Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy before moving to the next stage.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following company guidelines.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Demonstrated experience with power and hand tools preferred.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
• Willingness to cross-train across different departments.
• Capacity to work 40-60 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
• Strong attendance record and reliability.
• Physical capability for standing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 75 pounds.
