Job Description

The University of Vermont Medical Center is seeking Licensed Nurse Assistants (LNAs) to join the team at Shep 3 North, the newly opening long-term alternative care unit. LNAs will provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses, including tasks like taking vital signs, patient assistance, and medical record documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision.
  • Assist with vital signs, call lights, and personal care tasks.
  • Demonstrate reliability, flexibility, and compassion in patient interactions.
  • Participate in the LNA Advancement Program and Council for professional development.

Requirements

  • Licensed Nurse Assistant (LNA) certification in Vermont.
  • Preferably have experience in Long Term Care settings.
