Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Levindale Hospital's Subacute Rehabilitation Unit in Baltimore, MD. As an LPN in Hall 1, you will work full-time with a weekend commitment on the night shift (7:00pm-7:30am) as a Staff Nurse. You will be responsible for providing individualized nursing care, attending to the daily operations of the unit, and assuming leadership responsibilities as needed, all under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing.
Responsibilities
- Utilize nursing principles and basic assessment skills to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Ensure resident needs are met and provide compassionate support.
- Participate in the daily operations of the unit and take on leadership roles as required.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in nursing; Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and AHA CPR Certification.
- Less than one year of nursing experience required.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical equipment such as IV pumps, EKG machines, and specialty beds.
