Mental Health Professional for the Violence Intervention Project

Asociación Puertorriqueños en Marcha (APM) is seeking a Mental Health Professional to join the Community Services department in Philadelphia, PA. The selected candidate will provide critical therapy and support to program participants, engage with the community, and help prevent cycles of violence in North Philadelphia.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy using the Rewire CBT Model to program participants.
• Engage and train parents in Evidence-Based Child Rearing programs.
• Perform community outreach to individuals at risk of perpetuating violence.
• Collaborate with community leaders and program directors for effective engagement.
• Offer therapeutic services to individuals and families with mental health concerns.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in a clinical mental health discipline.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Proficiency in DAP documentation and Microsoft Word.
• Experience in facilitating psychotherapeutic groups.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
