Minds Matter, LLC is seeking a Registered Physical Therapist to join our team dedicated to helping individuals who have experienced brain injuries. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in assisting consumers to reach their highest level of motor functioning and mobility, providing skilled therapy goals and supervising physical therapy assistants.

Responsibilities

• Implementing Minds Matter, LLC's philosophical principles in service delivery.
• Reviewing and providing feedback on assistant therapists' daily notes.
• Assisting individuals in identifying needs and developing compensation techniques.
• Performing evaluations, analyzing medical data, and determining therapy strategies.
• Collaborating with consumers and professionals to meet goals.
• Providing therapy services per consumer's plan of care.
• Assessing and recommending adaptive equipment and home modifications.
• Documenting goal-driven sessions and educating families about brain injury strategies.
• Maintaining professional relationships and promoting public relations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to teach skills to individuals with disabilities.
• Supervisory skills for therapy assistants.
• High sensitivity and professionalism in interpersonal interactions.
• Effective time management and communication skills.

Education and Experience

• Completion of an accredited physical therapy program and current Kansas license.

Requirements

• Physical ability for some lifting.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic technology proficiency.
• Reliable transportation.
