1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description

Position Type: Full-Time
Average Hours: 30-35 hours per week
Starting Wage: $23.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Selects and receives incoming stock efficiently to effectively fulfill orders from stores.
• Relocates merchandise in the warehouse according to product handling guidelines.
• Sorts, organizes and loads merchandise for shipment and unloads incoming shipments.
• Performs general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety.
• Participates in inventory counts and cooperates with peers and leadership.
• Provides input for process improvements and assists in achieving goals.
• Inspects product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
• Acts independently within the delegated responsibilities.
• Follows safety guidelines and reports issues to management.
• Performs assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Follows ergonomic and safety procedures while operating equipment.
• Notifies management of quality, safety, and sanitation concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Acts conscientiously, collaborates, demonstrates positive attitude, drives for success, organizes efficiently.
• Ability to interpret company policies, good communication skills, basic arithmetic, attention to detail, teamwork.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, stand, bend, reach, walk, operate industrial equipment.
