1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a valuable member of the warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in receiving, organizing, and preparing merchandise for shipment. This full-time position offers an average of 30-35 hours per week at a starting wage of $21.00 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise in accordance with product handling guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving warehouse goals.
• Operate equipment safely and report any issues promptly.
• Perform tasks accurately and efficiently while following company procedures.
• Follow ergonomic and safety guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Engage in various physical activities such as bending, reaching, and lifting.
• Work in different temperature environments.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
