1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a full-time member of our warehouse staff, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling stock, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement and assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and handle items up to 45 pounds.

• Capability to work independently and in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

This role involves lifting, moving, and preparing products for delivery, as well as operating powered industrial equipment. Applicants should be comfortable working in varying temperatures and environments.
