1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the dynamic team at Aldi. As a crucial member of the warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling stock, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the timely preparation of shipments. This position offers a starting wage of $23.00 per hour for full-time work totaling 30-35 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse following handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes and product quality.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older to work at Aldi.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret company policies, communicate effectively, and work independently or in a team environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Capable of lifting up to 45 pounds, operating industrial equipment, and working in varying temperatures.
