2nd Shift- Fabricator

Job Description

Veritas Steel LLC is looking for skilled Fabricators to join our team on the 2nd shift at our Eau Claire location. As a Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in fabricating, drilling, and grinding bridge girder components, including welding and assembly operations. Safety is our priority, and we offer extensive training programs to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

Responsibilities

• Produce fillet and groove welds using various processes.
• Drill, install high-strength bolts, and grind steel components.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Participate in continual improvement activities.
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately.

Requirements

• 1+ years of fabrication experience preferred.
• 1+ years of welding experience is a plus.
• Commitment to work safety and proactive participation in the safety culture.
• Ability to produce quality, accurate, and reliable work.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate within a team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift up to 75lbs occasionally.
• Capable of pushing/moving objects up to 100 lbs.
• Comfortable with standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and working at heights.
• Good range of motion for reaching, bending, and overhead work.

Working Conditions

• Work is performed indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Exposure to dirt, dust, paint fumes, noise, and heavy steel.
• Protective gear like safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, and steel-toed boots required.

Compensation

Starting Pay: $24.07/hr
