2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This role offers an average of 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of $23.00 per hour. As part of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for efficiently handling stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, and maintaining warehouse standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties and maintain warehouse appearance and safety.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect and ensure product quality and safety.
• Independently make decisions within your area of responsibility.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Follow ergonomic and safety guidelines.
• Perform all assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Notify management of any product quality, safety, or sanitation issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, including preparing for store deliveries.
• Engage in various physical activities throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures, including outdoor and cooler environments.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely and properly.
