Job Description

The Piedmont Triad Regional Council (PTRC) is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will work directly with the general ledger, perform account reconciliations, assist departments, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. The ideal candidate should be a CPA candidate with analytical skills and the ability to lead others. Responsibilities will include developing accounting procedures, preparing fiscal reports, interpreting fiscal regulations, and maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Perform account reconciliations and assist departments.
  • Develop, review, and modify accounting procedures and policies.
  • Prepare and analyze fiscal reports.
  • Interpret and follow the Fiscal Control Act.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited institution.
  • CPA candidate with up to two years of professional accounting experience.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
