Agronomy Plant Operator/Controller

Job Description

We are looking for an Agronomy Plant Operator/Controller to join our team at Mid Kansas Cooperative. As the Agronomy Plant Operator/Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing agronomy shipping, receiving, inventory control, and maintaining compliance with all regulations. Additionally, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and optimizing the cooperative's efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Handle logistics and inventory of agronomy products.
• Maintain and operate equipment associated with agronomy products.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT regulations, and company policies.
• Provide agronomic recommendations to customers.
• Supervise daily activities related to shipping and receiving.
• Manage inventory control and budget responsibilities.
• Train employees on equipment operation and maintenance.

Requirements

• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazardous Materials and Tanker endorsements.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of Crop Protection Products and Crop Nutrient products.
• Positive attitude promoting teamwork and a favorable cooperative image.
