Job Description

We are looking for an Associate Field Application Engineer to join our team as part of the College Grad Program in Boston. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support, preparing and delivering product presentations alongside the sales team, and coordinating technical inquiries with our engineering teams from Japan and the US. As a key member of the team, you will report directly to the Regional Sales Director.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary technical resource for the Sales team and customers.
  • Communicate and support customers regarding application questions, performance specifications, and new product requests.
  • Enhance the technical presence within key customer accounts.
  • Analyze customer technology trends and competitor products.
  • Support technology and product demonstrations as required.
  • Establish relationships with cable and harness manufacturers.
  • Participate in sales promotion activities such as exhibitions and sales package creation.

Requirements

  • BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Effective project management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM software is advantageous.
  • Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and team-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work with cross-cultural teams, ideally with exposure to Japanese companies.
  • Willingness to collaborate with Japanese teams and travel up to 30%, including international trips.
  • Authorization to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
  • Engineering aptitude and the ability to provide technical solutions and address customer-related issues.

Work Environment
