Job Description

We are looking for a talented Banquet Chef to join our team at Essex Resort Holdings. As a Banquet Chef, you will be responsible for preparing food items according to our standard recipes, overseeing kitchen equipment care, and ensuring a seamless flow of operations between the kitchen and banquet areas.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare food items under the supervision of the Executive Chef.
  • Promote teamwork and collaboration in the kitchen and banquet kitchen.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and provide training as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and equipment.
  • Assist in forecasting and planning for banquet functions.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of culinary experience in a hotel or conference center.
  • Prior experience in supervising a team.
  • Knowledge of culinary departments and basic accounting.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
