Complex Director of Finance

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and driven Complex Director of Finance to lead our finance team at the Sentinel Hotel & Dossier Hotel in downtown Portland, Oregon. As the Complex Director of Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our hotel operations, ensuring financial integrity and optimal performance.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage cash flow and communicate related issues.
• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes with the Executive Team.
• Analyze financial data to support management decisions.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
• Develop and implement financial strategies and policies.
• Establish internal financial controls and prepare financial reports.
• Conduct regular financial analysis and provide insights on revenue generation and cost control.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify cost-saving initiatives.
• Maintain relationships with external stakeholders and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of finance or accounting experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of financial principles.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines effectively.
