Corrugator Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Corrugator Supervisor to join our team at Hood Container Corporation in Chicago, IL. As the Corrugator Supervisor, you will oversee manufacturing and production schedules, provide direction to production floor employees, and strive to enhance operational efficiencies and safety regulations. You will play a key role in fostering leadership on the operating floor, ensuring compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, have a passion for excellence, possess problem-solving skills, and excel in motivating teams to exceed expectations.

Responsibilities

• Manage employees to meet manufacturing and production schedules.
• Provide direction to production floor employees in production, scheduling, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for enhanced operational efficiencies.

Requirements

• High School diploma or G.E.D. with equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of leadership experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Corrugated industry experience preferred.
• Ability to work in high temperature & humidity conditions with proper PPE.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
