Counselor (part-time)

Job Description

Lycoming College is seeking a part-time Counselor to join our Counseling Services team. The Staff Counselor will provide individual, relationship, and group counseling to students. This role involves outreach programming, crisis intervention, consultation, and clinical training and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy, assessment, and crisis intervention.
• Deliver counseling support to students individually and in groups.
• Support specific populations such as LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and International students.
• Collaborate with administration, faculty, and staff for student psychological needs.
• Manage records confidentially and provide after-hours crisis intervention.

Requirements

• Master's degree and licensure in counseling psychology or related field.
• Experience in college-aged counseling and working with diverse populations.
• Strong interpersonal, written communication, and crisis management skills.
• Demonstrated multicultural competencies and ethical standards.
