Human Resources Intern

Sightpath Medical is seeking a Human Resources Intern to join our team at our headquarters in Bloomington, MN. This internship offers hands-on training and mentorship, focusing on Talent Acquisition Management within the HR department while providing exposure to various HR functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and provide administrative support to the HR department.
  • Post and maintain job openings on various platforms.
  • Source candidates using Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for company job vacancies.
  • Conduct initial phone interviews and coordinate additional interviews with hiring managers.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through follow-ups and professional communication.
  • Manage candidate tracking through the ATS.
  • Complete reference checks, background, and drug screenings for new hires.
  • Onboard new employees in the payroll system and maintain employee records.
  • Address staff inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or studying in human resource management or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly motivated with a passion for excellence.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
  • Ability to quickly build relationships.
