Job Description
Liberty Healthcare Management is seeking a dedicated and experienced Dietary Manager to join our team at Barclay at Southpark. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing the dining services department, ensuring high-quality meals and exceptional service for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the dining services department staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Develop and maintain staffing and scheduling systems to ensure quality service while considering regulatory requirements and safety.
- Plan and create innovative menu cycles that cater to resident and guest preferences while maintaining cost and quality standards.
- Oversee meal preparation and service, ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Manage food inventory, ordering, storage, and cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas.
- Act as a liaison between dietitians, nursing staff, and residents to meet nutritional needs.
- Responsible for resolving resident complaints regarding dining services promptly and effectively.
Requirements
- Degree in a related field or Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certificate with at least one year of relevant experience.
- Completion of state-approved food safety course.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of state and federal health inspection requirements.
