Job Description
We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team at Region V Services as a Full-time Direct Support Professional. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing training and support to individuals with disabilities in their homes and community settings, helping them achieve personal goals and build relationships within the community.
In this position, you will work flexible hours based on individual needs, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays. You will participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and provide high-quality services to our clients. We are currently offering a hiring incentive of up to $1000 for successful candidates who apply today.
Responsibilities
- Provide systematic training and customized supports to individuals with disabilities.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement tailored training and support programs.
- Maintain accurate records and reports to meet regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals under your care.
- Assist individuals in various environments within the community to increase social engagement.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- One year of experience in the field of human services preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation.
- Ability to work with individuals with special needs.
