Director of Sales

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Director of Sales to join our team at Home2 Suites by Hilton Tuscaloosa Downtown University Boulevard. As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Sales team, driving revenue, and ensuring exceptional guest service. Responsibilities

• Stay informed about industry trends and opportunities for the hotel.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet sales targets.
• Participate in sales activities such as meeting clients, hosting events, and engaging with contacts.
• Contribute to the annual budgeting plan and negotiate with clients to maximize revenue.
• Enhance the hotel's community presence through active participation in associations and events.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of hotel Sales Leadership experience, preferably in a 100 room or larger hotel.
• Experience with Hilton branded sales and systems like Delphi is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales goals.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships.
