General Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated General Manager to lead our team at 10 Fitness. The ideal candidate should embody our values of honesty, commitment, and resilience, and have a passion for creating a positive member experience. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of club operations, including staff management, member services, cleanliness, and safety.

Management Responsibilities

• Communicate with Senior Management and Human Resources.
• Ensure adequate staffing and provide consistent communication to employees.
• Maintain club signage, enforce policies, and create a safe work environment.
• Manage payroll, expenses, inventory, and financial goals.
• Lead staff meetings and provide feedback for business improvement.

Member Experience

• Greet members and guests warmly, ensure they have what they need for fitness goals.
• Handle inquiries, address service issues, and promote club amenities.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain equipment/facility functionality.

Club Cleanliness and Safety

• Maintain a clean work area, perform safety checks, and report concerns promptly.

• Make sound decisions and communicate effectively at all times.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of sales/customer service and leadership/management experience.
• Basic computer skills required.

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and effective communication.

Work Environment

• Exposure to mechanical parts and noise.
