Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at BCI Construction INC. As a key member of the HR department, you will be responsible for various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to fostering a positive employee experience.
Primary Duties
- Manage full cycle recruitment activities such as posting job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and overseeing background checks.
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition.
- Provide assistance to employees regarding benefits inquiries and company policies.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases while upholding confidentiality.
- Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Contribute to HR system development and maintenance.
- Handle benefits administration, including enrollment and changes.
- Support various HR initiatives and projects as needed.
Requirements
- Effective communication skills in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting various information.
- Working knowledge of human resources principles and employment law.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong organizational skills, with the capability to prioritize tasks.
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Demonstrated alignment with core values of honesty, integrity, and teamwork.
Education & Training
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with HRIS and ATS databases.
- 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources.
