Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at BCI Construction INC. As a key member of the HR department, you will be responsible for various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to fostering a positive employee experience.

Primary Duties

  • Manage full cycle recruitment activities such as posting job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and overseeing background checks.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition.
  • Provide assistance to employees regarding benefits inquiries and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases while upholding confidentiality.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Contribute to HR system development and maintenance.
  • Handle benefits administration, including enrollment and changes.
  • Support various HR initiatives and projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Effective communication skills in person, over the phone, and via email.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting various information.
  • Working knowledge of human resources principles and employment law.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the capability to prioritize tasks.
  • Detail-oriented with high accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
  • Demonstrated alignment with core values of honesty, integrity, and teamwork.

Education & Training

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience with HRIS and ATS databases.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources.
