Job Description

We are looking for an Industrial Technician to join our team at Konecranes in Corpus Christi, TX. As an Industrial Technician, you will play a vital role in conducting inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer locations. You will be responsible for troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic issues on-site, ensuring safety and functionality. Additionally, you will consult with customers on repair and safety matters, offering expertise and recommendations for material handling improvement.

Principal Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists.
• Provide on-call service, including after-hours support.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic issues.
• Document findings, recommend corrective actions, and consult with customers on repair and safety issues.
• Generate sales leads during service calls and stay updated on industry codes and regulations.
• Complete service reports accurately, maintain company-issued equipment, and follow safety procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required; Associate degree in related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to work off the ground.
• Ability to work varied overtime, travel, and work out of town as needed.
