Internal Medicine Pharmacist and PGY1 Associate Residency Program Director

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Internal Medicine Pharmacist to join our team at Manatee Memorial Hospital. This role involves serving as the Pharmacy PGY1 Associate Residency Program Director and providing clinical pharmacy services to the Graduate Medical Education Internal Medicine teams. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the Residency Program Director and Pharmacy Leadership to oversee the PGY1 program, provide education in pharmacotherapy, and ensure the successful completion of residency objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide services to the Graduate Medical Education Internal Medicine rounding teams.
• Oversight of the Pharmacy PGY1 program in accordance with ASHP criteria.
• Coordinate pharmacy services related to the hospital's medical residency programs.
• Manage and develop pharmacy staff as preceptors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required, PharmD preferred.
• PGY1 training or 3 years of acute care experience.
• Current Pharmacist License in the State of Florida.
• Strong computer literacy skills.
