Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Problem Management Specialist to join Discover Financial Services, a global leader in digital banking and payment solutions. As part of the Business Technology team, you will be responsible for managing the life-cycle of assigned BT issues, identifying root causes, and coordinating actions to resolve problems efficiently and effectively. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure timely issue resolution and manage risk escalation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the life-cycle of assigned issues and coordinate actions for resolution.
  • Engage in root cause analysis and implement appropriate controls and preventative measures.
  • Work with business partners to uphold service level agreements and ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Maintain documentation and progress updates in ServiceNow.
  • Propose and implement process improvements and mentor team members when necessary.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Business, IT, Mathematics, Analytics, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Consumer Banking Call Center Operations or related roles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Mathematics, or related field.
  • 1+ years of people management experience.

Compensation

The base pay ranges from $75,500.00 to $127,900.00 with additional incentives based on eligibility and experience.
