Job Description
Join Discover Financial Services as a Lead Problem Management Specialist in the Business Technology (BT) team. This pivotal role involves managing the life-cycle of assigned BT issues, identifying root causes, minimizing future impacts, and documenting problem resolution actions. Collaborate with various teams to ensure efficient issue resolution and risk management.
Responsibilities
- Manage issue life-cycle and coordinate actions for problem resolution.
- Ensure service level agreements are met and blockers are addressed promptly with business partners.
- Maintain inventory of problems and track progress in ServiceNow.
- Suggest process improvements and mentor team members when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in relevant fields or 4+ years of experience in related roles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 1+ years of people management experience.
