Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services. In this role, you will assist in the direction of nursing services, monitor patient symptoms and conditions, and collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing nursing services for the unit under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Delegate duties and monitor work performance of nursing personnel.
• Observe patients for symptoms and signs of adverse changes.
• Notify physicians of emergencies and implement changes in orders as instructed.
• Perform assigned duties efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Hold a current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Willingness to work as charge nurses and provide care during emergencies.
• Ability to deliver quality nursing care, follow doctors' orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
• CPR certification required annually.
• Attend in-service training and staff meetings as necessary.
