In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the direction of nursing services, observing patients for symptoms, and providing quality nursing care to our residents. Responsibilities

• Assist in direction of nursing services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Delegate duties and monitor work performance of nursing personnel.
• Observe patients for symptoms and reactions, reporting changes as necessary.
• Notify attending physician of emergencies and patient conditions.
• Implement changes in orders as instructed by physicians.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Willingness to work as charge nurses and during emergencies.
• Ability to provide quality nursing care, follow doctors' orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
• CPR certification required.
• Attend in-service training and staff meetings as required.
