Job Description
Liberty Healthcare Management is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Bermuda Commons in a part-time evening shift role (3pm - 11pm). As an LPN, you will be responsible for assisting in the direction of nursing services for the unit/hall, observing patients for symptoms and reactions, notifying physicians of emergencies, and implementing changes as instructed. This position offers a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to provide quality nursing care in a caring environment.
Responsibilities
- Direct nursing services for the unit/hall under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Delegate duties and monitor work performance of nursing personnel.
- Observe patients for symptoms and reactions, and notify attending physician of emergencies.
- Implement changes in orders as instructed by physicians.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Ability to provide quality nursing care and follow doctors' orders.
- CPR certified yearly.
- Attend in-service training and staff meetings as required.
