Logistics Specialist

Job Description

The Town Dock is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our Supply Chain Team. This role plays a critical part in managing all third-party domestic logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery of orders and maximizing cost efficiency.

Principal Duties

• Manage the customer-facing domestic logistics process.
• Collaborate with storage facilities and carriers to facilitate deliveries.
• Collect and input data into reports, maintaining accurate records.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to meet customer requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate freight costs, submitting bid requests as needed.
• Handle order processing, shipment returns, and logistics coordination.
• Generate reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and collaborate on strategic planning.
• Utilize ERP systems and other tools for efficient logistics management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in logistics or supply chain management.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in domestic logistics.
• Demonstrated initiative, organization, and time management skills.
• Strong communication abilities for effective collaboration internally and externally.
• Customer-centric mindset with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Compensation

$26-28 per hour.
