Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Subacute Rehabilitation Unit at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. As an LPN in our team, you will work full-time with a weekend commitment during night shifts, ensuring the care and well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing.
- Assume responsibilities of a leadership role as needed and attend to the daily operations of the unit on a shift level.
- Utilize basic physical assessment skills to meet the residents' needs and provide compassionate care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a License for Practical Nursing and AHA CPR Certification.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of specialized medical equipment such as IV pumps, monitoring systems, and EKG machines.
- Less than one year of experience required, formal knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree.
