Join our team at U.S. Tsubaki Power Transmission, LLC as a Manufacturing Engineer Lead, where excellence meets innovation. As a world-renowned manufacturer and supplier of power transmission and motion control products, we are seeking a passionate individual to take on the role of Manufacturing Engineer Site Lead. In this pivotal position, you will manage projects, provide guidance to Manufacturing Engineers, and ensure the achievement of safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects and provide direction to other Manufacturing Engineers to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
  • Promote teamwork and cultivate a culture of excellence in all aspects of production.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and strive for continuous improvement.
  • Lead the implementation of lean manufacturing concepts for operational enhancements.
  • Design tools and dies using Solid Edge CAD software, optimize tool design, and assess manufacturing processes for cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage projects, conduct analysis, and lead experiments to enhance manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in design review meetings.
  • Travel domestically and internationally when required.

Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
  • Eight plus years of related experience, with expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Project Management, ISO, and CAD.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to comprehend and apply mathematical and engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, GD&T, and engineering principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed.
